Goole Town Cricket Club held their Senior Presentation Night on 7th October at the Clubhouse.
A very entertaining evening took place. The event included 2 sets from local singer Katie Hamilton- Cooke and a pie and peas supper.
Secretary David Caldicott highlighted the successes this year including the recent alterations and improvements to the lounge and the completion of the new electronic scoreboard.
The Senior teams had reasonable seasons. The 1st team finishing 9th in their league recovering well after a poor start to the campaign. The 2nd team finished in 6th position. The Third Academy team finished 7th out of 16 in the Sunday league.
Stand out performances were 1st team captain Neil Foster with over 500 runs including a century. Oscar Sugden scored a 124 not out.
For the 2nd team Antony Gibbins scored a 138

For her organisation and management of the alterations and improvements to the Clubhouse the Award goes to Elza Greaves. Elza acknowledged the help of her staff in winning this trophy.
