Kitchen Staff Required for Junior Matches

Are you looking for a part-time job in the Summer months? GTCC need someone to work in our kitchen for our junior cricket teams. We provide sandwiches, drinks & snacks during our matches and we need someone to head up our team in the kitchen.

Who is this suitable for?
This role would be ideal for a student looking for a part-time job, but we will consider anyone that is 17 or over who wishes to apply. No applications from under 17's, however we may be able to offer you a role as assistant in the kitchen or as a cricket scorer, so please get in touch.

Roles & Responsibilities
You will be responsible for cooking food, preparing drinks, taking money, washing up, selling raffle tickets and working with the other kitchen staff to ensure that our players & parents are well catered for.

Hours
The hours are generally fixed and you will be required to work on weekday match nights and Sunday mornings at the club.

On Tuesday & Thursday nights we have under 13 & under 15 matches, which take place bi-weekly and you will be generally needed from 5.30pm to 8pm. Each week on a Sunday morning our U9, U11 & U13 teams will play and you will be needed from 8.45 to 11.30am. There may be other matches in the week on an ad-hoc basis, but generally the times above will be your core hours.

The season runs from late April until late July meaning this role is a seasonal role.

Training & Requirements
No experience necessary as full training will be given. We require someone with basic kitchen skills, a good work ethic who is ready to roll their sleeves up & someone with good customer service and people skills.

You will need to hold a valid Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certificate to be accepted in the role, however the club will fund this for you should you not already have one.

If you are successful the club may have to carry out an ECB DBS vetting check which is mandatory for people working with children.

Applications
To apply, please send an email to simon@gooletowncc.co.uk or send a Facebook Message to our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Goole-Town-Cricket-Club-405747019618501/ stating your name, address, telephone number, email address and list any relevant experience that you have.
